🗳️ Dropbox has 96 remote openings

Inside: Layoffs are down, but not in tech. Plus: Dropbox, G-P, and Nift are all hiring remotely.

A report last week shared that layoffs in the first third of 2026 are 50% lower than in the first third of 2025.

That’s directionally good, but there was one major exception: the tech industry, where there have been 33% more layoffs than in the same time period last year.

Tech was an early, leading adopter of remote work, so this drop will likely impact remote openings this year.

That said, we added about 190 companies to the job board this week — 8 of which are remote-first — and we’ll be adding more in the coming weeks to counter any stagnation in remote job availability.
