🇦🇺 Aussie victory for WFH

I always knew I liked the Aussies.

Last week, the government of the Australian state of Victoria announced plans to give employees the legal right to work from home at least two days per week if they have the ability to do so in their role.

I wouldn’t expect this legislation in the US anytime soon, given the pushback that major executives and politicians in this country have had against remote work (and let’s be honest, no matter your political views, there are probably more pressing issues for the US government to address these days).

But what a pleasant surprise! It looks like the law will be in effect as of September this year. Excited to see how it goes for them.
