✅ CEO's "green flag" on resumes

Inside: PointClickCare is hiring in engineering, sales, and marketing. Plus: people ignoring office mandates, deepfakes hurt WFH opportunities, Rural America wants remote work, a resume "green flag," and more.

Good Morning,

Last week, Indeed and Glassdoor announced another round of layoffs, impacting about 6% of the workforce of parent company Recruit Holdings. It’s not a great sign when the companies responsible for hiring are laying off their own employees en masse, but this time it doesn’t seem to be because of a lack of hiring; rather, it’s due to a shift in how we work.

It reflects Recruit Holdings’ strategy to “focus on using AI to transform how job-seekers look for work and how employers handle recruitment,” which seems to mirror other tech companies’ strategies.

The CEO himself said he expects 50% of their code will be written by AI soon, and that their focus moving forward will be “how can we simplify hiring with using AI and technology and data to reduce manual work.”
