🤷🏻‍♂️ Govt RTO might not be smart

Commure is hiring in sales, marketing, and engineering. Plus: a growing resistance to office mandates, Georgia faculty threatens to quit over RTO, a nonpartisan study on remote work in govt, international coffee shop sounds, and more.

Good Morning,

A few days ago, Mary Meeker — famous for her internet trends reports in past years — published a Trends report about artificial intelligence that’s making waves.

It’s 300 pages and I have no intention of reading all of it, but there are some great summaries from people who have read it all (or… used AI to read it).

This top ten takeaways list is from Jason Lemkin, and while he’s writing this article for B2B leaders, these are still relevant for anyone exploring career changes.

With faster user adoption than any previous technology ever, it’s going to be increasingly important to understand AI and how it can be used to advance your career — if for no other reason than it’s apparently now conducting job interviews.

Desks, chairs, coffitivity?

Healthline compiled several favorite products for remote workers, including the usual ergonomic furniture and the vertical wireless mouse above. But this list had something totally new, “coffitivity,” a service that plays “curated soundscapes from international coffee shops,” in case you’re stuck at home but wish you were working from an exotic cafe.
