That’s the percentage of employees who quit their jobs in September this year, the lowest it’s been since June 2020 — and excluding that covid-induced outlier, it’s the lowest since 2015.

This means people are incredibly hesitant to quit their jobs, reflecting the lack of new growth opportunities in the job market.

Tech has been hit worse than many other sectors. Employee satisfaction with IT career opportunities has actually dropped by 7.5% since 2022.
