REMOTE SOURCE JOB BOARD

20,000+ jobs. Updated daily. Free access!

Have you heard? We host one of the largest remote job boards in the world.

Other remote job boards make you pay to access all jobs ā€” we donā€™t!

And itā€™s optional to create a free account to save your favorite jobs.

Here are quick links to some of our most popular job searches:

NEED TO KNOW

Remote work headlines:

  • Knowing that elections can prompt Americans (in both political parties) to want to leave the country, the NYT shares an overview of how digital nomad visas work.

  • Amazon has made it more difficult for those with disabilities to work remotely, adding steps to the WFH approval process.

  • What employers get wrong about how people connect at work ā€” and why office mandates arenā€™t guaranteed to work.

  • The future of work: ā€œpolyworkingā€ ā€” working multiple jobs. In 2023, 46% of US workers held either multiple jobs or a side hustle of some kind.

  • Whatā€™s behind recent RTO announcements? The Verge podcast brings on experts to discuss the wide range of opinions and theories behind them.

  • What the Synchrony CEO did instead of requiring full return-to-office, including ā€œmake in-person events matter.ā€

TECH CORNER

5 cool home office gadgets

This quick list from Yanko Design includes a levitating pen (above) and a foldable mouse inspired by origami. Great ways to enhance your home office; and itā€™s never too early to start compiling a holiday gift wish list.

STATS

67%

Thatā€™s the percentage of US companies that will lose talent over their remote work policies (or lack thereof) in 2024.

Further: 40% of executives say remote work has positively impacted work/life balance for their employees, 34% say flexible work policies increased employee engagement, and almost 32% of hiring leaders have seen reduced absenteeism due to flexible and remote working policies.

JOBS, JOBS, JOBS

Google doc with 20,000+ remote jobs

Have I been upstaged? A redditor shared a post in r/digitalnomad that links to a google doc with over 20,000 remote jobs scraped from across the internet using similar aggregator technology.

He also put together sheets for H1B jobs and general full-time jobs.

CAREER BOOST

beehiivā€™s Remote Handbook

The email service provider I use, beehiiv, is a fully-remote company. How fitting!

Theyā€™ve seen outsized success in a short amount of time, and their CEO Tyler Denk credits remote work as a big part of that.

He shares beehiivā€™s remote handbook publicly ā€” study it, save it, and apply some of their principles at your own company.

RANDO

Standing desk companies: stand down!

It seems standing desks donā€™t provide as much health benefit as companies that manufacture them might imply.

ā€¦a new study of more than 83,000 adults found that standing for more than two hours a day not only doesnā€™t protect against cardiovascular risks, but it also heightens an individualā€™s risk of circulatory problems, including varicose veins, abnormally low blood pressure, and blood clots. Standing also burns just nine extra calories per hour.

Connie Loizos, Tech Crunch

All that said, itā€™s still healthy to move frequently throughout the day, no matter where you work. And standing desks do provide that opportunity for knowledge workers; plus, I know sometimes I want to stand while working ā€” maybe itā€™s just a comfort thing. But just know for future reference: itā€™s more of a personal preference, and less of a healthy-living decision.
