🤫 Overemployed: secretly working multiple remote jobs
Inside: The remote subreddit that's skyrocketed in popularity, managers' poll results on remote work, and some of the best digital nomad accommodations.
Good Morning,
Hope you found time to relax over the holiday weekend. And if not, consider taking a page from Shopify's playbook and cancel some recurring meetings this week - your productivity and stress levels will thank you.

The community's tagline is "Work two remote jobs, earn extra income, reach financial freedom." One recent post is from a late-20s remote worker making 300k annually working 3 remote jobs.
While I have no intention of working for two companies at once, I still find the productivity hacks helpful and the overall creativity fascinating.
Data from this University of Birmingham (UK) study has a more optimistic outlook than several other polls conducted specifically for remote managers.
As mentioned in last week's edition, it's only a matter of time until remote workers move into management and policies shift further away from required office time. Some of the biggest findings:
73% of managers felt that giving employees flexibility over their working hours increased productivity
60% of managers felt that allowing employees to work from home increased productivity
90% of managers agreed that mentioning availability of flexible work in job advertisements would make them more attractive to candidates
This company provides temporary living accommodations across the globe, many of which are specifically tailored to remote workers. Whether you'd want to stay in a new city for a few nights or months at a time, Selina gives you the ability to live and work in communities of fellow remote workers.
They even have exclusive Digital Nomad Retreats and the option to add planned experiences to your stay.
While I haven't stayed at a Selina property, several friends have, and they spoke highly of the quality, cleanliness, and the fellow travelers staying there. For what it's worth, they'd vouch for the Sayulita (Mexico) and Santa Teresa (Costa Rica) locations.

Last week marked the first workcation of the year, spent in Florida. Far too nervous to take a laptop to the sand itself, but no complaints with the balcony view.
